This is a general Adult Learn-To-Swim (ALTS) session. This session is a beginner or beginner refresher adult swim course. Typically it will progress adult students with no or very limited swimming experience to a beginner swimmer level (Level 1) depending heavily on the student's degree of comfortability and ability to grasp and replicate swimming concepts as presented in class. The primary target upon completion of the session is for successful Level 1 adult students to swim with alternating leg and arm motions. Additionally students will be able to demonstrate other introductory aquatic skills while swimming as well as consistently applying basic water safety rules and practices while in and/or around "the water".
