This is a general Adult Learn-To-Swim (ALTS) session. Typically this session will progress adult students with no or very limited swimming experience to a proficient beginner swimmer level (Level 1) majorly in motion for passing advanced beginner swimmer level (Level 2). Passage of this course depends majorly on the adult student's degree of comfortability and ability to grasp and replicate swimming concepts as presented in class. The primary target upon completion of the session is for successful Level 1 students to swim with alternating leg and arm motions; successful Level 2 students will be able to swim freestyle proficiently and tread water amongst other skills. Additionally students will be able to demonstrate other introductory and/or fundamental aquatic skills while swimming as well as consistently applying basic water safety rules and practices while in and/or around "the water".
