Session description:
American Red Cross (ARC) Level 2 (Fundamental) Aquatic Skills.
This is a general Adult Learn-To-Swim (ALTS) session. Adults who have registered for this session should already know how to swim, should have already successfully completed an ARC Level 1 (Beg/Intro) swim course recently (one to two years max) preferably at 4M. This session will progress adult students through advanced beginner swimmer level (Level 2) termed Fundamental Aquatics Skills. Successful completion of Level 2 depends majorly on the student's degree of comfortability and athletic abilities grasping and replicate swimming concepts as presented in class. Level 2 adult students will be able to swim freestyle proficiently and tread water amongst other skills. Additionally students will be able to demonstrate other fundamental aquatic skills while swimming as well as consistently applying basic water safety rules and practices while in and/or around "the water”.

Session specific notes:
Goggles are suggested but not required. All females should wear a one-piece bathing suit. Students with hair (longer than one- and one-half inches from the root) are required to wear swim caps.
